Pheasant Room

Pheasant Unit, fitted with a double bed, is on ground level and has a garden entrance and direct access to the sundeck. This is a self-catering unit but can also used for bed and breakfast. The unit is en-suite, shower only, and fitted for self-catering including a two-plate stove, microwave, fridge, crockery, cutlery, TV; all you need to bring is toiletries and beach towels. Spot whales and dolphins from your room. Serviced daily, except during high season. Non-smoking room.

This small and very homely B&B is located a little way out of Mossel Bay centre, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners are warm and welcoming and go out of their way to be helpful. I loved the chocolates and homemade biscuits in the room, and the lovely little touches like a sprig of lavender on the breakfast plates. The rooms are a little small, but still very comfortable. I had a great night's sleep! Unfortunately they were doing some renovations while we were there, but we still enjoyed our stay. There were whales out in the bay, which is visible from the balcony, but they were a bit far away; there were lots of dolphins too.

We were so well looked after by Joy and Louis at this B&B. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Highlights were the spectacular seaview, spacious deck and easy to view birdlife. We also had a gentle sunset stroll in the neighbourhood and enjoyed the mountain views. A peaceful haven for the nature loving traveller. Shuttle service for dinner was a winner!

Never stayed in a guesthouse so clinically perfect but warm, inviting and cosy at the same time.
Rooms were impeccably clean & fully equipped. Sound didn't carry at all (tv's in rooms) and access to an outdoor deck overlooking the Kleinbrak bay and Mosselbaai in the distance made it perfect for someone in need of winding down for a bit. (Doubles as a smoking area also!)
Venue had free WiFi and a delicious breakfast prepared freshly in the guest kitchen.
Joy and Louis also seem to love birds and all other animals - you can spot all the local species right there in their garden because they provide for them. Do go see the reservation zones this guesthouse borders on.

Best view. Very comfy rooms and living area. Breakfast to die for. Friendly hosts Joy and Louis are well informed about the area and what to do. Whale season is my favourite time.
